We grouted on Wednesday night and it looks pretty good! We got all the haze off that we could. Now there is a light dusting still and it is really dusting up the house.

I was wondering is it ok to use a little bit of water to try and wash the tile and to help control the dust? Or could I use a steam vac and go over it with just water?

How long does it take the grout to cure enough so it can be washed? It says on the package to wait 10 days and to thoroghly clean the grout/tile with TSP solution. That seems a while and I would like to get most of the dust off!

Thanks!

It is ok now to go over it with a sponge that you squeeze as much as possible and make pass with one side. Turn over make another pass. Clean and squeeze out the sponge and do it again. You should then be able to wipe after that dries with a soft towel and then sweep up if anything is left.
Good Luck

Water will make the grout stronger. For the first few days, wet sponge the grout joints (without hard scrubbing).
