i put down granite tile in kitchen. Do i seal granite then grout or grout then seal all. Will sealing prevent the granite getting darker when it gets wet?
Thank you in advance for your help.

I'll move this part of your project to the Cleaning and Sealing forum where it may get better response.

These folks will want to know exactly what kind of granite you have in order to best respond to your question.

Please go to the UserCP above, find Edit Signature and enter a first name for us to use. :)

cx is right... it would help to know more about your tiles...the name of the granite and the type of finish would help.
The main reason for applying a sealing product prior to grouting is to use the sealer as a Grout Release. A grout release is to help the grouting cleanup and is generally done on very textured material or very absorbent materials that are prone to staining. If your granite is polished stone there is little need for a grout release.
A properly sealed stone will hold water out and won't change color when it gets wet....however water left standing can always get through a sealer sooner or later...
