removing grout the easy way

Is there such thing as removing grout with a chemical. The application that im having problems with is a bathroom locker room floor its quite dirty and quite a bit of mildew on the grout joints. The tile as well as the grout is brite white and we've tried stem cleaning and ''oxygen bleach'' that was guarnteed to work and did not from a different website so thats where were at . The tile is 1inch x 1inch and the grout joints are 1/8 so removal will be a long project so we like the remove the grout with a chemical or clean it with a chemical??????????...........
