I installed a black granite tile counter top (first job, not perfect but I'm happy).
Anyway to the point . I sealed the tile/grout using Tilelab penetrating sealer .
I have noticed a couple of water marks from glasses. Is there a way to remove these stains? . Is there a better / different sealer to use?
Thanks in advance
Steve

Steve, more than likely the sealer is what's giving the water marks, as the granite didn't absorb it.I would look on the sealer bottle and find out what is needed to strip it,if it's water based,an alkaline cleaner and rinsing would work, this should solve the water mark problems.

What do you recommend for sealing granite tile?

Well, that's the point, nothing, black absolute won't absorb a sealer.

Thank you again.
I was really trying to make the grout lines darker ? any suggestions?

If you've cleaned them and no result, you may try any grout darkening enhancer, any one that claims to darken grout.Or remove the grout and use a blacker grout.

Most granite shops will have a black waxy paste similar to shoe polish that fills the pores of black granite and makes it shinier. Wipe it on with a soft cloth, let it haze over, and polish it off with fine steel wool. Works like a charm!
