Cleaning up from Tile install

I am a novice - very much so.

I installed my own tile mosaic in the shower back splash and the counter backsplash. During the grout clean up, i was rinshing the sponge in the sink. Now, there is the haze in the sink.

How do I remove this haze? Any suggestions? I have let liquid bleach, but its not working. I cannot use an SOS pad which will scratch the sink. The sink is your standard white sink.

You'll probably need some white vinegar and a sponge,just dilute the vinegar with water 50/50.

This worked. Now, there is some oxidation from the chrome ring on the drain - any suggestions?

Maybe some Brasso,or chrome polish like for cars.
