Hi
I think it's time we all got John to star in his own DIY Tv show...I think you could start out with maybe a internet show, and then quickly move to a local PBS show in Houston..and the go national...give Bob Vila a boot in the @#%...maybe team up with Norm(he's ok)..What do you think?

Good idea but things like this cost money and where would John find sponsors that would be willing to pay for true statements, honesty, and experienced professionalism?

By the way, where's kalford? He loves DIY shows as I do.

Sponsers? How 'bout me? Do you take Canadian dollars at par.

Harry,

I damn near spilled my Grolsch! Thanks for making me laugh.

John,safety first!

1. Get your right hand outa the path of the blade.
2. Safety glasses.
3. Never use a table saw with the guard on it.

Grolsch Premium Lager

A genuine Dutch Premium Lager, which owes its superb quality to a selection of the finest ingredients and the traditional bottom fermentation brewing process.

Skill and patience are time-honoured values, upheld by Grolsch brewers for almost four centuries. Famous worldwide for its distinctive taste and packaging, Grolsch Premium Lager has been chosen as the "World's Best Beer" by the Beverage Testing Institute Inc. Pale Lager judging in 1995, 1996 and 1997.

For me, Grolsch is a problem beer. It tastes WAY too good and goes down WWAAYYY too easy when compared the the damn
headache I have the next morning after drinking it.

Bud, where were you when I had to do research papers in school?

All I have to say is I won't ever, ever steal anything from Harry's site again. You got me, Harry.

It IS an improvement over Bob Vila, though.

I have a son here in Houston who's trying to interest me in radio. I might write another book, maybe. That's it.

CX,

Besides trying to make money in the tile business, Harry makes web sites. Pretty good, eh?

Great job, Harry.
All ya needed was a touch of blur on the blade so's it wood look like it's really spinning!!!

What's your rate anyway? Maybe I could come paint and you could hep me wit my site as I ain't got time!

And yeah, Bud, Grolsch is alright if ya like lager.

Funny posts, and it shows the grand humour we all have when we ain't stumped over the work bench. Sweetie keeps asking me if I'm chasing girls on the internet...ummm duh, oh, no sweetie, I'm working with my CAD program trying to design this fireplace surround!!!! Insecurities can sometimes smell so sweet, eh? Hrumphhh, now back to DeltaCad...

Hey Sonnie,

Why don't you send us "Sweetie's" email address so we can all assure her you're true blue?

Sonnie Layne

Yeah right...
actually she doesn't have one. Believe it or not, it's the truth, Ruth.
Don't think I've ever mentioned it, but her name is JJ. But I always call her sweetie.

Of course she has an email address: jj@sonnielayne.com.

You'll make sure it gets to her, won't you, pal?

She's had no email up to this point, but I just added her account, so the email you suggested in last post will now work. I'll see she gets the mails. I hope this is good for a few good laughs.

I'll try this again... wouldn't let me edit to get my name up there. Also, the email notifications don't take me to a good link.

Bud,
Better late than never. Kalford's computer had a decent burial and has not yet been replaced. We keep him up to date as far as we can on the current events on the boards. He sends his regards to all on the board and hopes to be with us all before long.

Hey, ain't Keith the one owes me some beer on accounta I got the right answer on his quiz way back when? Don't even remember the Q, but I had the right A. Hell, don't even remember the thread.

But I did promise my beer to somebody. Jason I think, on accounta I hurt his feelings about something, which, of course, I didn't mean to do.

Anyway, D&J, axe ol' Kalford where's my beer, eh? ;)

Unless, of course, I'm confused again. :D
