Looking to score some points with my father in-law :D
He apparently got some wallpaper paste and "seize primer" (is that the right product?) on some glazed ceramic tile in the bathroom. He apparently let it dry and he hasn't been able to remove it.
I had suggested a vinegar solution and medium duty white scouring pad. I wanted to see if the experts had something better or is it a lost cause?

Hi Mike,
I don't know the answer to your question, but I bet someone else here does. However, if you don't get an answer here, you might try calling your local Sherwin-Williams store. They should know.

Sizing is mostly watered down wallpaper glue, tsp will work if the soap and water and soaking doesn't.

If it's smooth glazed ceramic have you tried a sharp razor blade to scrape it off?

in a spray bottle. Preferrably unscented. It works wonders on walls so I don't know why it won't work on tile. You may want to do a small, out of the way area first since it may stain the grout.
Dif. It makes wallpaper easy to remove by acting on the paste.

Interesting tip - using the fabric softener. I just used a wet fabric softener sheet to clean chewing gum off of my dryer drum (actually the guilty kid had to do it). It worked like a charm.

Hot water and a sponge will take off the paste (and the primer if it's relatively fresh). Wear heavy dishwashing gloves and make it the hottest you can stand (safely, of course). A sharp razor blade as metioned will also work for the smooth glazed tile.
