It is hard to believe that it has been two years since my massive summer long shower project. You can see the photos and video at my project web site (located in my profile).
The Shluter Kerdi System, the plumbing and the stone work have all worked flawlessly. No leaks, no cracks, no problems, no regrets. However, it is time to reseal the shower as the current sealer, Tile Lab’s penetrating sealer, is starting to wear out. I am noticing that soap scum and mineral deposits on the pebble rock floor are more frequent and harder to remove. Plus, the water no longer beads up in places.
I want to go with a wet look his time on the pebble rock in grout floor versus the natural look I did last time.
Option 1: Glaze N’ Seal’s Wet Look 2000 Lacquer or Wet Look II. Do I first strip the old seal off. Then apply it?
Option 2: Apply a wet look stone enhance over the existing sealer?
Option 3: Someone please suggest a better option, cuz I have no clue.
As before, it’s appreciated.
