mask for solvent base sealer

do we need a mask when doing solvent base sealer? after done a job,, found my self start coughing and feeling the throat is a bit itchy..

already open most of the windows..

It sure won't hurt to have a respirator mask like painters wear. The solvent based sealers are good but can be strong smelling.

For safety it never hurts to wear the appropriate safety equipment (especially if you have a sensitive system). Following manufacturer label directions is most important. Some people are more sensitive than others, and must take the necessary precautions. The chemicals also vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Good ventilation is always the key!
