Bleach stain on new granite??? Help!!

We remodeled our bathroom this past January. We have a new vanity with a black granite countertop. I was cleaning the bathroom and layed a bleach/water soaked paper towel on top of another cloth on the vanity top. It was just there for a few minutes, but it leaked through the bottom cloth and now I have a muted patch in the granite where the bleach hit it. It is about 5" in diameter. Does anyone know how to bring the area back to its original luster?? I'm just sick that I have done this, any help is greatly appreciated.

Without seeing the countertop, it's difficult to establish what will be required to revive it.

You could do a TEST and see if acetone has any affect on the surface.
