I'm one of those "do it first and then read the directions" people. I have a 160 sft of UTST Jack Multi colored slate thats going in a shower and the customer wanted me to use a stone enhancer on it to get a darker look. I treated about a third of it (prior to installation) with Mira Matte and then read the fine print on the bottle. It says to apply a sealer first before the enhancer. I took a bottle of sealer and applied some to a tile I enhanced yesterday and it pretty much sat right on top, with little of it penetrating. I'm hoping that the enhancer will provide enough protection for water absorbtion and I'll apply sealer on the grout. Or, did I really screw up big time???

I've done that before . i just sealed it twice with the enhancer and it was fine. Hopefully someone else will follow up .

If you look at this link on how to apply the sealer Chas, it says if you don't need maximum atain protection use the Mira Matte by itself,i think you'll be fine,if it won't absorb a sealer it won't absorb a stain....hopefully,i'm gonna put this in the resto forum if you don't mind,also....http://www.miraclesealants.com/msds/g_mira_matte.pdf
