Hey forum!

Mike here again.

The TileLab Aim and Seal @ the Depot seems too good to be true. Anyone use this stuff and/or have feedback?

It looks like AquaMix has their version or a similar product too.

Should I go for it or stay away?

I want to seal 1/8" sanded grout lines with porcelain tile...what's the best thing to use?

Thanks!

Can't speak for the Tile Lab, but I am familiar with the Aqua Mix.

Is it called SameDay Grout Sealer? If so, it is a water based grout sealer designed to be applied 2 hours or so after grouting. (Can't remember the exact details on the usage.) However, it is for use only on glazed tile. Spray it on, buff the overspray from the face of the tiles, and it's done.

It's not Aqua Mix's top of the line grout sealer, but it is great for temporary sealing of grout, especially if other trades are going to be working on the new floor before proper sealing can be done.

...what's the best thing to use?Of the two you are asking about, Aqua Mix is unquestionably superior.
