We just put 12x12 limestone in our bathroom floor. It hasn't been grouted yet. I was told I can seal after I grout using the "Heavy Duty Sealer". The bottle says "Allow new grout installations to cure for a minimum of 72 hours prior to application. . ."

Do I have to wait that long after its grouted to seal? Or should I just seal now before grout and then later again in a few days after it "cures"?

I need to put the toilet and cabinets in.

Thanks

Depending on the type of limestone i would definitely seal the stone(be sure to wipe off excess before it dries)before grouting. The grout pigment may be absorbed into the face of the tiles if you don't.

Welcome, Autocrat. Please give us a first name to use. :)

And after you grout, I'd wait a lot longer than the three days before you seal if you can. Seven is a nice number of days. :)

My opinion; worth price charged.

Thanks everyone. So seal before grout and then wait a week and seal again?
