Has anyone seen any of these yet? I haven't. Since they're trying to tie them to education, I'd rather seem them feature the first 10 amendments to the Constitution rather than the presidents.
Better yet, I wish they were making them out of a dollar's worth of actual gold. Their near microscopic size might be the best lesson of all.

I have a few Krugerrands. Currently they are worth nearly $700 a piece for their gold content (one ounce).

On the topic of Dollars, I Recieved a "silver certificate" (1934 I think) Bill not long ago in change. I hung onto that :clap2:

Krugerrands or other gold coins in vending machines might be a hard sell, unless the price of soft drinks goes way up.

Or they start putting fur coats in vending machines.
Actually, silver is pretty practical for small value items right now. A dollar's worth of a 90% silver coin would be about the size of a dime right now.
You folks need to loose the 1 dollar bill, and have a dollar coin like us Canucks. Actually, we have a 2 dollar coin too. I love it...just when you think you're broke, you find you have 20 bucks in change in your pocket. :)
Nothing like "canuck bucks"

I don't know how real the threat of an Amero fiat currency is, but I do know that it's a real bad idea. I'm  with ya, Dave.

Don't get me started talking about the amero and such!!! As if the Federal Reserve system isn't enough of a sell-out, now we get to merge our money with the peso. This benefits us how? I guess Bush is having a big powow with the other cafta country reps in a month or so at some big resort in Canada.
Will that buy me a cup of joe down here in the states?
No, but you can get some good beer, and some back bacon. :)
