glad I found this forum! please help.

a few months ago home depot had a clearance on 12x12 marble tile - it is cream color with red veins, it looks amazing. at 69 cents a tile I jumped on the deal, finally we can have that marble bathroom.

i have done a little research on what to do for protecting the marble tiles. i am particularly concerned about the shower stall. what do i use to seal and protect the marble? so many products out there my head hurts trying to figure this out.

does marble sealer also seal the grout?

hopefully i have come to the right place for answers. if i need to explain more for answers, please ask. please realize i am new to this.

shower will be used 2 -3 times daily, i like the shiny/gloss look.

thanx.

Usually we say test the stone with some water to see if it absorbs it, by turning darker.I would use HD's Aquamix impregnating sealer on the stone and the grout.

Id use stonetech bulletproof in any shower. The extreme heat and cold tend to need nothing but the best sealers in order to work properly longterm.

You can also get bulletproof here at there TYW Store.
