Sealing shower

Hello all...i am finishing up my kerdi shower project (thanks to everyone here)and have sealed everything one time. My question is how many coats of sealant should i apply? I have used Miracle 511 and wasnt sure if the shower should get any additional coats. The glass is being installed friday and pictures will follow. Thanks :usflag:

Hi Bill :)

Sorry I haven't followed your installation threads. Therefore, I have no idea what you're sealing. The best sign that no additional sealer is needed is when water doesn't darken the surface (natural stone or grout).

Thanks for the response. I have put down porcelain for this project. I will check it with water as you mentioned and see if darkens. Thx

Forget that Bill, porcelain won't absorb water and doesn't need a sealer, just the grout.
