20 years ago today I married the love of my life. My HS sweety! We've been together now for 23 years and wouldn't change a thing. We're still young, under 40, kids are almost on their own. So I took today off to spend some time celebrating this momentous date and going out tonight for a little R&R!
Just thought I would share. Now, back to your regular scheduled program..

Thank you guys! We still can't believe it's been 20 years. Time has just flown by. Tonight I took the wife out for dinner and a movie. Stop by the local Irish Pub and had a toast to end the night. Yes, I'm in early. I got to work tomorrow.
Opie, I threaten my wife when she hits 40 I'm going to trade her in on two 20's year olds' but I doubt I'll be able to train them so I'm rethinking my position.. :lol2:
Davy, Tell you M&D Happy Anniversary! They picked a good date... :king:
Irish Tileguy, I'll pass on the Harley but if she want to get me a low mile 1979 400 4 speed 10th anniversary Trans Am I'll gladly accept... :uhh: But somehow I don't think I put that in the pre-nupt..

Dave,
Good thoughts for you and your wife! :yipee:
Christina and I are coming up on anniversary #13 next week. I'm have already realized how good I have it and she is starting to figure out that she might have made a mistake. :D
For 20 years, you two should go away for the weekend. Can you leave the kids at the in-laws? :D

I heard somewhere that 20 years was the break in Period on Wifeys and you reach the comfort zone between 25-30 years.
Now I wouldnt know, but it would seem to me trading in for 2 - 20 year olds and going through 20 more years of breaking in with Twice the headaches would NOT be a great idea..............That and the fact that wifey #1 may simply let your HMO expire Just Before She _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ You!!!!
Congratulations..........youve made it much further than Most!!! :clap2:

Wiley and I are 18 and counting. If he forgets how good he has it, I gently remind him that I may be single again someday...but I won't be divorced.

Congratulations David! Best wishes for the next 20, 30, 40...
Cute one, Marge! I've been married 18 too - and my hubby scoffs when I tell him I'd marry him again tomorrow. Or maybe that's 'cause he'd run off first!
We both turn 40 next month - he better not try anything like Opie/Dan did or he's going to make me a widow when I hafta kill him. :lol1: Nah, I'd really hate to be single again. I'd miss him too much. And who would cut my tiles for me?! (Yeah, not too PC, eh? Woman-power and all that.)
Hey Big D, my dad was 18, my mom was barely 16 by three weeks and they only knew each other for 3 weeks before running off to get married. What were the odds of that working out? :yeah:
I kinda did the same, I was 18, my wife was 15 by one month. Of course we were friends for a couple years first. We've been married 3200 years now, I mean 32 years. :D
