Hi all,
I've got an odd request. I've got a friend currently in Quantico, Virgina who needs to get to Dulles Airport and is without a car. Anyone know of a super secret mode of transportation between the two that costs under $100 one-way?

A bus?

Bus won't cut it for her, with luggage and scheduling. She's considering a town car at $75 but would prefer something less ostentatious. IS there a little-known commuter train? An informal ride-share system? An underground tunnel with a super-sonic rail system which might be fare-free for "dark hair and stunning blue eyes"??
:)

Quantico to Dulles is a decent ride, depending on time of day and traffic...it could be two hours. There are several businesses in the area that do pick-ups/drop-offs at the airports, but I don't know if they go as far south of DC as Quantico.
I haven't taken a cab in forever, but I'd be surprised if a private car could be hired for only $75.
There are trains, but none that go to Dulles.

Depending on her tolerance for risk, she could advertise her want on Craigslist.

Thank you Rob,
I think the Town Car might be through some sort of special arrangement with the facilities at Quantico, perhaps? But she was quoted $75 one-way. Just trying to help her out using the tools at my disposal. :D
Dan,
She's MUCH smarter than that. :)Nobody hitchhikes into or out of Quantico without drawing just a little bit of "WTF". :)

Depending on which runway her plane uses, she'll be flying over my house at about 3000 feet. :D

Can neither confirm or deny. Honestly, with the new baby, I haven't thought to find out.

Shaughnn, I'm sure that by now you know I was just pickin' at ya. :D
Every baby is a very special gift that should be enjoyed to the fullest. Use both kids as an excuse anytime you want to. I know I sure have and now it's grandkids. :tup2:
