I've tiled a bathroom floor (and shower) in marble and am ready to grout. My question is do I need to seal the grout first, and then the whole floor (presumably with a penetrating sealer) or can I do both with one product.

I think the answer is that grout sealers are different and you need to do both, but thought I'd ask.

Also, we're doing marble on the shower floor, but ceramic subways for the walls. Is there any reason to seal the ceramic walls after sealing the grout?

Thanks,

You can use an impregnating sealer on both stone and grout at the same time, and also use the same sealer on just the subway tile grout.
