I know you keep sayin' the site will be shut down for ONLY a couple days, John, which is bad enough.

BUT, it says right at the top of the announcement that it will be shut down from "09-09-2001 until 09-30-2001"!

Can ANY of you out there hold out that long?!

Now, I got a suggestion. I was over to that "other board" that was linked in somebody's post and one thing I liked about the format - and have been meaning to suggest - is it shows under the poster's name the city and state he is alleged to represent. Would keep some of us from getting confused when somebody says something indicating a regional preference or local method. Some of us confuse easily. Some of us can't remember whose brother is in what union and whatnot. Know what I mean? So maybe that would help some of us keep up. Maybe.

I didn't even notice those dates up there. Those are the dates the announcement will run, not the site. If I don't do anything the announcement will self-destruct on the 30th.

The city/place where you live thing is a feature of an older version of this thing. I've tried to capture it, but I'm not smart enough. When and if I get this thing moved to a decent server, I'm going to have the boys in England re-install the forums for me. I'll have them fix us up with that feature, because I think it's a neat idea, too.

John, thank you for the offer, but I really think I have to pass right now. We are right in the middle of making our slc available in other places besides the N'East. In fact we are looking for independant sales reps in the floor biz. If anybody knows any good ones please let me know or have them contact me.
