I have some sort of stains on latex grey color caulking on my backsplash (where backsplash joins the granite countertop). I think stains are soy sauce stains ... Caulking is from Color Caulk Company.

Any idea of a safe way to remove the stains without ruining the caulking or the color of the caulking?

Thank you!

Andriy

Acetone, or toluene should do it.Maybe use a toothbrush and acetone,I'd be surprised if it was actually the soy sauce and not mildew, though.

Thanks Dave.

Just out of curiousity: what about StoneTech Pro or AquaMix cleaning products: are they more for tile and grout and should not be used for caulking? (I still have some KlenzAll left)

Thank you.

Well, they are mainly for the type of dirt or stain, and are designed not to harm the product they're used on.Mainly acrylic latex caulks won't be harmed by any of these cleaners.

Hi Andriy :)

I'd suggest using the KlenzAll first.
