Hi Everyone -
I think I've really messed up my new installation. :turkey:
Applied 511 Impregnator - 2 coats
Then Applied Stone Brite to develop additional enhancement and gloss.
Problem: I've messed up the travertine with the Stone Brite. I think I applied it to much is a hurry. Areas have streaks were I applied too much, I think. I used a white towel, loaded it with Stone Brite then pushed it with a broom, reloading frequently. I had about 20 x 40 ft area. Some areas look fine, other areas have long streaks after drying.
Any ideas on how to fix? If I got too much to being, not sure if reapplying more to reactiivate the Stone Britie will help.
The Stone Brite instructions mentions, quickly buffing off excess on glossy granite with white towel, will eliminate haze ... this works fine. When I try the same technique on travertine, the Stone Brite becomes very tacky and removing excess does not work as well.
And lastly, how many coats of Stone Brite can be applied. I applied a little light coat first and when it dryed, I did not get the gloss results which I wanted. So I reapplied another heavier coat and that's when I got the streaking.
Please help
Thanks
