Im wondering if anyone could give me some advice:

I just finished a Travertine shower with a 6 inch boarder of Split Face Brick Tile. These tiles are 1"x2" and very very close together on a mesh backing. The tile finish is very uneven which gives a "textured" look. They are Mex Noce and I grouted them with Customs Haystack color.

I was unable to get alot of the grout off and now the tile is lighter then the original color. Does anyone have a good way to clean this up...I used a stiff brush and this got some of the color back. Or should I use a stone enhancer on this boarder to bring out some of the Mex Noch color? If I do use a enhancer, I still can use a sealant over the enhancer after it dries, correct?

Thanks in advance!
Troy

You would most likely require an acid based cleaner to remove the grout, which would harm the look of the tiles.I usually don't even grout this tile, i just user a dark thinset, and leave it,i sometimes enhance it, which is probably what you should do,enhancer is also a sealer, so you won't need another sealer. You could try using a stone cleaner and stiff brush and maybe an awl or pick to get most og the grout off, but it might be fruitless, that tile is tough to work with.
