I have a tiled shower in the house that is probably 10 years old at least. Although in decent shape, some of the grout is discolored beyond what a normal cleaning will cure. There is probably some mold growth that I can not entirely get rid of. I have tried bleach with fair results, but not great. Sifting through this site I saw a comment about how bleach will destroy grout, is this true? So:
What is the best method to clean/restore the existing shower?
What is the best method for routine cleaning?
Thanks for the help.

Click on the TYW store and get some Restore, and a soft brush and clean away, seal your grout, then use the tile and grout cleaner for regular cleaning.Use a squeegee every day,and liquid soaps to wash with, and use a water softener to reduce deposits in your water system.

If you have that little bit of black around the bottom you will not get rid of it.
You can clean if off and find it comes right back. Because of moisture behind the tile.
There are many tile grout cleaners available. I like the Custom products at HD of click on the Tile Your World link above and see the fine products there.
Keep water off the tile/grout. A squeege (white or clear blade), Towel, or a Chamoise (I find they stink when wet) all work well.
Good Luck
