Lately it was rumored that Edna and ol’ Tile Ranger lit out fer’ St. Mary’s City in St. Mary’s county on St. Mary’s River near St. Mary’s College livin’ on (you guessed it) St. Mary’s Street….. all of which jest’ happin’ to be somewhere near me in MD. It was rumored that Edna went into the rust removal business when she got to St. Mary’s City.
Now I never did believe that nasty rumor that the upstanding’ Tile Ranger ran off wif’ Edna… why ol’ Ranger could prolly’ have his pick of any Miss Makita in the blink of an eye but….. The St Mary’s Blade-n-Oily-Rag ran a recent story:
Seems a un-named lady of fair proportion had recently been arrested fer’ practicing rust removal in St. Mary’s City out of season and without all the prerequisite licenses required by the St Mary’s City Council and Zoning Board. The article went on to note that a rather distinguished gentleman made the lady’s bail a-gittin’ her outta’ the St. Mary’s lockup. Later St. Mary’s authorities found a silver Kerdi bullet they think was left by the gentleman.
An un-named St. Mary’s official was quoted that he overheard the lady mention that she was headin’ fer’ Illinois where she planned to go under-cover at Coverings running booth sixty nine.
Here is where I loose the story. Now we need to rely on ol’ Tonto n’ Flatfloor to tell us all about it (wif’ pictures) when they return from Coverings :---)
