We are using Woodridge Quartzite for our bathroom remodel. 12x12's for the shower walls and bathroom floor. 4x4 tumbled for the shower floor. The quartzite was with the slates in the showroom and seems to have very similar properties. Does anyone have experience using this product and the best sealer to use and when? I've been assuming that I should just follow the advice given for slate.

If it is a true quartzite, it is probably as porous as a sponge. Quartzite is metamorphic sandstone. However, no telling what type of stone it is without seeing it can you post a picture? I have seen many different stones with different properties marketed as quartzite, none of which really were.
As with anystone, you should test various products if possible, and if it is a rather porous stone, it will take multiple applications (following manufactures time intervals) to get good water resistance.

I will try to post pictures soon.
Assuming it is quartzite, should we seal before grouting? We have Aquamix Sealer's Choice Gold 15.

Here are two pictures of the tile. Does it look like quartzite to you experts? And any other recommendations regarding sealing?
