Liquid Floor Wax on new ceramic?

I just put down a tile floor in my basement. The grout has been sealed etc, but I was wondering if there would be any benefit to applying a coat of liquid floor wax? Any drawbacks? I'd like to get the shine level up a bit, but on the other hand if it's too much maintenence...

Hi Dave :)

Don't do it unless you want an extra accumulation of soil, and a floor that will be more difficult to maintain. It will also eventually establish traffic patterns.

Ceramic al Natural is almost always best! ;)
