:santa: Hi all -
I have test boarded using StoneTech's Enhancer Pro on a couple of granite field tiles that are slightly lighter than all the others - doing this, the match becomes pretty close... then I would use the ST Heavy Duty Sealer on the majority of the tiles. I plan to grout after that with the SpectraLock. Is there any reason why this should not be done. I've tried looking for past threads that dealt with this - but could not find anything. What do you all think?

Most often enhancers are sealers too. The enhanced tiles might not need additional sealing. Test a sample to find out if you could apply both your enhancer and regular sealer without the two interacting weirdly.

Hi JoEllen :)

If you're independently sealing these tiles with the different products no problem. As Adriana pointed out, the enhancer doubles up as a sealer. Generally speaking, you do not want to apply a water based product over a solvent based product.

Yes, on my test board the Enhancer Pro definitely is a sealer and the Stone Tech specs indicate it to be. And the tiles are already set in the field, with a 1/16" line, so what I was thinking was to do the 3 with Enhancer first, then later do the others - avoiding getting any Heavy duty Sealer on them.

Thanks!
