My wife and i have a tumblestone tile shower. its the kind where it looks like swiss cheese before its grouted. it was sealed after installation around a year ago. since, my wife has struggled to find a cleaner that she can use regularly without it leaving streaks down the tile. also at the base of the seat and floor, ive got some minor cracking of grout where mold tends to accumalate. it also tend to show up where the grout filled holes were in the tiles.im going to chip out the cracked grout line and regrout. is there a cleaner that will also treat mold and mildew and not strek the way the home depot brands do? most of the ones ive seen dont mention anything about preventing mold and mildew. any advice on a daily or weekly cleaner would be greatly appreciated.

Welll, bleach is a good mold and mildew cleaner, but it can be a little hramful to stone, but i would live with the harm in order to eliminate the mildew myself. We have a good daily cleaner at the TYW store above i'll give you a link. The cracking grout joint is indicative of grouting instead of caulking, you could put caulk in the crack....not a good fix,or cut out the grout and recaulk it.You'll probably have to be aggressive with the cleaning of the pits in the stone, and use a scrubby brush of some sort.Mpst soap scum removers are acidic so they aren't recommended for stone, you need to stick with the alakaline type........http://www.stonetechstore.com/proddetail.asp?prod=APCR12%2D22S
