I have bluestone in my kitchen and bathroom floors. Most of the dirty work is done so i need to clean and seal(before paint?). Would it be wise to rent a steam cleaner to pull all the dirt/spackle up... let dry and then seal. Is the $35 aquamix 5yr good enough or do I spend $100 for the aquamix 25 yr? Do i use the same for my sanded grout in the shower stalls. thanks gary

Hi Gary ;)

I suggest you clean the stone & mortar joints with any tile & stone specific alkaline cleaner. Let dwell on the surface, agitate, pick up solution with wet vac. Rinse, agitate, vac.

I will always choose the better sealer.
