This web site was started by the daughter of some friends. She is quite an accomplished young lady and has seen her non-profit dream grow. This is an excellent sight for any young girl to visit everyday.

Neesie,
Thanks for the link. I've bookmarked for my wife to pass along and I hope it's still a vibrant source when my own daughter is old enough to benefit from it.
In return, I'll share a similar site for "older girls", though it's not a gender-specific site. "The Perfect World (http://www.theperfectworld.us/) " is an online community which my wife has participated in for several years now. It's topics are extremely compartmentalized so you can browse topics without being distracted by chatter which doesn't interest you.
My wife has found recipes, shopping tips, support for a miscarriage and hope during a successful pregnancy all there. She's also found enough thought-provoking conversation that I've been able to see how seemingly trivial conversations of several years ago have grown into thoughtfull resolve today. I think that it's an excellent outlet and resource. Give it a try and see if you don't find something there that's usefull. Just watch out for "CalGal" as she's the owner and she's got a pretty sharp tongue when she wants to.
Enjoy,
Shaughnn
PS: IT was through that site that my wife learned about the "John Bridge Forum" and told me one night, "I just heard about a website that's just up your alley. It's full of tile geeks, just like you". I've been here ever since. :D
