I have been working with one of our Forum members, DCAreaDave, on a nice bathroom project. When I called Dave tonight to map out our work for Saturday, he sent me an email showing what Amazon.com recommended for him. Based on Dave's buying history with Amazon, they suggested that he might like "Legally Blonde", by Reese Witherspoon.

What did Dave recently buy at Amazon.com?......"Ceramic Tile Setting", by John P. Bridge. :shades:

So, who is Reese Witherspoon, and what does she have to do with an crusty old mud man like John Bridge?

Cami, help me out here! :uhh:

Dave M., tell me how to post the link thingy that DCDave sent me, and I'll put it here so John can't deny that this happened.

Reese Witherspoon, star of "Legally Blonde" and other movies.

Maybe Amazon is suggesting that John dye his hair? ;)

Maybe Reese needs a tile job?

or maybe...

naaahh...that couldn't possibly be it...

it could explain the recent shortage of silicone, however :D

I'm not sure if my first post went through, so I'm resending...

I've been lurking (and learning) around the forums since March and finally have gotten around to posting something until now. ;) In addition to the Totally Blonde movie recommendation from Amazon, they also recommended the soundtrack to O Brother, Where Art Thou? So I figure Amazon must be telling me something about my lack of participation... ;)

Hi Dave, Welcome aboard. Thanks for the purchase. ;)

I can understand the "Oh, brother" thing. A lot of people say that after reading my book.

I don't know about the blonde girl, though. That could be a Michael Byrne plot, maybe. He's on Amazon, too. :D

Didn't they get Robert's middle initial wrong?

I thought it was O. Bedient. ;) sorry,,, couldn't help myself.

I still want the next edition released. No reason Mr Byrne's book should be occupying all that shelf space at the hardware stores.
