I have an antique wooden (cherry?) washstand which has a marble slab top, 16"w X 30"h and approximately 1" deep.
The marble is stained along the right side with what may be wood stain which was used on the washstand at some time and allowed to seep into the slab.
There is also a much lighter, larger stain that spreads across most of the left side top of the slab, which I'm guessing may be from water that stood on the slab for a lengthy period.
Do you have any suggestions on how I might attempt to clean either stain?
I am sending two photos of the slab.
