View Full Version : Help! cutting hardiebacker to fit curved walls

Am I making this harder that it should be? I've got two curved walls in my entry (across from each other) and I'm trying to figure out how to transfer the radius of the walls to the hardiebacker. Or, should I not worry about it and piece it together? I'm attempting to transfer the curves to each end of a 5' piece. On that note I've been trying to always lay full sheets everywhere I can to eliminate seams, is that the best way to go? :uhh:

All I can say is it ain't easy. Lay a sheet on top of the last sheet laid and measure straight to the wall 36 in. Where the 36 in. mark hits the sheet is about where the wall is. :)

Find some craft paper and make a templet you can transfer onto the hardi.
