Aloha Everyone,

I'm currently in the process of building an outdoor bbq. I have decided to use 12X12 granite tiles. I have found a place that seems very reasonable price wise (Most contractors puchase there materials from them).

But my issue is they don't offer 12 x 12 tiles with a radius or the edge tiles. Can anyone guide me on how to put the radius on the tiles without breaking the bank and without breaking all the tiles.....

Truly appreciate your input,

Tracy, CA

Look up something called a profile wheel...or a bullnose attachment for a router....Regent stone products...Granquartz....Granite City Tools...just a few suppliers.

Tracy i see you are in Cali. In southern cal look up Keystone, Arizona Tile
Dal Tile. Do a search on ebay for granite polishing pads. to keep your cost
lower look for dry pads vs wet pads. this will eliminate the need to buy a
wet polisher. As dave suggest look for a profile wheel. "Alpha" make them
and im short for links tonight but im sure a simple google search will pull
up a ton of info for you. I know that locally prices range from $7-10 per
lineal foot to have the work done for you at a granite shop. I would suggest
weighing the cost differences after you have tallied up the purchases you will
make in order to do this yourself.
