Clouds here in Austin too, bummers. The clouds just seem to disappear at dawn...

I got Jana out of bed at 0500 and drove a few miles from the house to a dark field. The moonlight was too bright to allow for a truly dark sky. :mad:

We did get to see quite a few meteors, including a few that were exceptionally bright.

Jana was concerned that the meteors might hit our house. :)
