I have uncolored sanded grout in kitchen/dining room that is light gray in color. The tile-layer did seal it with one coat of sealer. I don't know what kind or what brand and I don't know how to find him anymore. It was pretty cruddy stuff as the kitchen is now getting dark and ugly grout. I plan on cleaning it with and oxybooster product and then resealing with a good sealer. In researching this site, I keep reading about TYW Tile Armor and Aqua Mix 15 as 2 great ones. Problem is I can't find "Tile Armor" on the TYW site and my local Lowes has Aqua Mix products but none that say Aqua Mix 15. Thus, I seek you advice on what brand of sealer to use--a specific name please. If you say stick with Aqua Mix 15, then please provide a website or popular store that carries it. If you refer me to TYW then please provide the correct name of grout sealer. Apparently Tile Armor no longer exists?
Thank you!

Hi luvmywife, Welcome! :)

I'm sorry to inform you the entire TYW line was discontinued some time ago. Personally, I'm not familiar with Aqua Mix 15.

I do suggest the following for your situation.

1. Clean the tile and grout with a stone specific high alkaline cleaner, such as Stone Techs KlenzAll. The use of a wet vac will aid in a thorough cleaning. Follow the label directions, and do not let the product dry on the surface.

2. After the grout is dry choose a sealer to seal the grout with. Our on line store has Stone Techs Heavy Duty Sealer available (one of my favorite grout sealers). If available, Aqua Mix Sealers Choice Gold is used by many setters on this forum also. If neither one of these are available to you, let us know what is, and one of us will reply.

When applying the sealer, be sure to not let it dry on the surface of the tile. I find it easiest to do controllable sections at a time, and buff the tiles dry as I go,
