Hi Myrtle, Welcome! :)
This is the type of job that is normally handled by the restoration professionals. However, there have been homeowners that have had success doing it themselves. That being said, and not seeing the floor, I could recommend the following.
1. Purchase a product such as Aqua Mix Renue, or any other marble polishing compound, and do a TEST area. Use the product with a white polishing pad (if possible).
You may experience the following. Irregular surface shine, or inadequate shine. These could be caused by the original etch being more severe than anticipated. The use of high grit abrasives, followed by a polishing powder will correct the situation.
An inadequate shine would simply need the use of a polishing compound containing some oxalic acid.
In most incidences the use of power equipment with special backing pads will facilitate this procedure.
What was the question? :shades: :D
Hi Myrtle
If you want to do this yourself, please protect the areas that you do not plan to work on.
The polishing compounds that may work best for you can also cause etch marks on near by tiles.

I thought there might be something I could apply to the surface as it is very shiny and the spots are small, about the size of dimes.what is aglomerate marble tile made of? It looks to melike pieces of some white material set into concrete perhaps. I know it was made in Mexico and was sold by Daltile.

Hi Myrtler :)
Agglomerates are made of stone chips and usually a cement matrix (sometimes epoxy). In my first post, I've suggested a product to try. You don't want to use a wax to cover up the spots, as you'll just have to strip and reapply. There will also be also be more maintenance involved.
If you're not up to it, that's were a professional restoration contractor comes in.
