Today our contractor finished applying Mircacle Super Seal to our newly remodeled travertine bathroom (floor and shower walls). It looks like a mess!?!? It was very easy to see the grout residue that was left on the travertine tile that was almost wiped away (and not cleaned up properly). Now it seems that the sealer has locked this residue in permantly under a layer of sealant.

I am meeting with him in the morning, and we are looking for solutions. Can anyone recommend any solutions to take off the sealer so theat the tiles can be properly cleaned from grout residue before putting on the sealant, again. Or maybe another solution (besides firing this contractor=)?

Any of your immediate responses would be very helpful.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Ryan, Welcome! :)

Miracle isn't showing a Super Sealant here (http://www.miraclesealants.com/sealers.html). Is it a different brand?

Was it a impregnating sealer? Or topical?

Thanks so much for the reply. It's a brand new item from Miracle (or so the Home Depot guy told us). It's the "ultimate penetrating sealer".

Hi Ryan :)

I would call Miracle in the morning on this one, and speak with the tech department. It sounds like an overapplication. If it's only at HD, that brings up other issues.

Thanks. I'll try that and let you know what they have to say.
