I just sealed my new limestone tile floors with Aqua Mix Enrcih n Seal. It has been about a day and there are streaks in the tile. I thought I wiped the tile dry while sealing but it may not have been good enough. I am afraid I may have to clean the sealer off and then redo paying more attention to wiping down the tile thoroughly and timely. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Corey,
I've run into some problems with Enhancers and some limestones. This isn't Lagos Blue by chance is it? :bonk: Had a bad expirience with that once. :)
I've not used the sealer you used but would expect it can be re-activated with the same sealer. I would call the company(Aqua-mix)to confirm. They are a good company that's been in the industry a long time. See what they have to say.
Out of curiosity is you sealer solvent or water based? What is the Limestone? How was it applied ect.

John,
I am not sure if the sealer is water or solvent based. I think most enhancing sealers are slovent based but I could be wrong. The limestone is chocolate 16x16's with 1/8 inch grout line in the foyer, kitchen, dining are, hall, bathrooms. I purchased the limestone from Castelli Marble in Cleveland OH. They have their own quarry in Mexico and the tile is top quality. The total is about 900 square feet.
I also have about 300 square feet of Durango select installed in my master bath, shower, walls, ect. I was planning on using the same sealer but now am thinking otherwise.
My guess is the sealer and tile are fine, it is the installer who messed up (me). I think I did not dry the tiles adequetly enough when sealing. On the label it says to wipe dry within five minutes. I did that but I don't think I wiped them completely dry. I just kind off wiped up excess sealer instead of really digging into each individual tile. Lesson learned.
The lablel does state that a residue can form if not wiped clean, and advises deep cleaning then resealing. I hope I can just reapply and make it right. Thanks again.

Hi Corey :)
Try to reapply some Enrich n Seal on a small area, and buff completely dry. I just completed a similiar project, and had to do some reapplying myself to get desired results.
When you're finished with this project, you're going to hope you never hear the word "enhancer" again. :D
Please get back and let us know if this works for you.
