I finished grouting my tile and noticed a couple small problems. One being grout in the pores, the other being lighter than expected grout color. Though I was being careful, I probably used too much water during clean up, which caused the grout to be lighter. After going through alot of posts I think the vinegar wash might be the answer. It sounds like it will help remove the grout and possibly darken the grout to it's normal color. Ok, heres my questions. 1) How long do I need to wait ( or not to wait) before appling it to the fresh grout. 2) How long should it sit before doing any scrubbing. I'm not worried about it sitting on the tile, but what problems could develope by leaving it on the grout. The package said to protect the grout from water immersion for 72 hoursI used TEC Accucolor sanded grout and have porcelain tiles.I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks.

72 hours should be fine,50/50 vinegar and water isn't that strong.Leave it on a few minutes and use a scrub, or acid brush on a broom handle to give it a light scrubbing, and rinse well.
