View Full Version : Upcoming cleaning job - product recs.
I have to turn over a rental house pretty soon. It has split brick floors that will be pretty funky after 5 years of not being properly cleaned by the tenant.
I imagine KlenzAll is the ultimate product for this job but how would the Aquamix high alkaline cleaners (that I don't have to order in and pay freight) compare to KlenzAll?
Thanks,
Don

It would work fine, here's the Aqaumix site for cleaning products....http://www.aquamix.com/for_professionals/surface_finder/surface_finder_detail.asp?sfid=9624#grp24572
Thanks Dave. I was thinking about using the Stone Deep Clean. I didn't even know about the 1 & 2 Deep Clean. That might be the stuff.

Hi Don :)
I don't think you have to get into the 1 & 2 Deep Clean. With the surface you are about to clean, one of the most effective methods would be to employ a wet vac during the cleanup process.
If you have access to Prosoco products the EK 2010 All Surface Cleaner is a extremely versatile cleaner that provides excellent results.

you should try Prosoco vanatrol... that is a great brick cleaner
Hi John,
Do you think the EK 2010 is better than the AM Stone Deep Clean? I agree on the wet vac. That's the best way to remove the glop once it's loosened or dissolved.
Lou, I did a search at Prosoco on that product name and shot a blank.

Hi Don :)
If you have access to the Prosoco EK 2010, I'd give it a shot. I haven't used Aqua Mix Stone Deep Clean, so I can't compare them. I have used their older product several years ago, and it was also effective.
As far as Lou's recommendation to the Vanatrol. This is another extremely safe product to use on brick. However, caution must be used with surrounding surfaces (including fabric). If these are fired clay pavers, I would stick with the 2010.
Here is a link to the product data sheet for Vanatrol (http://www.prosoco.com/Lib/files/pdf/pds/SK_Vana_Trol_PDS_032306_C.pdf)
Thanks John. The brick is actually old Chicago brick street pavers.
The link to Vanatrol is a dead link. As I said, a search of the Prosoco web site resulted in "Your search - vanatrol - did not match any documents."

Hi Don :)
Did you try it after I edited? If so, try this one. (http://www.prosoco.com/ProductDetail.asp?ID={80788650-E6C8-43ED-9296-7E1B848DF893})
The link works now. I also understand why I couldn't find with search. The name is actually Vana Trol :)
Thanks,
Don
