Do you know...?

JB knows I have ties to Mukilteo and I was wondering if anyone here has info about the Presbyterian Church there? I know it was moved a few years back. We will be in the area in August and are trying to track down some people and history. Mainly the late 50's-early 70's. I've managed to find a few folks (in their 80's now!!) who knew my parents and we hope to get together with them in August. Any info is appreciated!

With marine fuel pushing $3.50 a gallon and my little toot with it's twin fuel injected GM 454's burning 20+ gallons an hour at minimum crusing speed, we've been doing most of our boating right at the dock this year. ;)

But if Marge is driving all the way up here from AZ, least I could do is boat her to church. :D

Thank you so much for the link. I have found a couple people already. You were so kind to make that effort. I lost my mum at a young age and my mum was very active there. Connecting is a real blessing.

I sent a request to the church site and will be interested to see what happens. I heard thru a friend of a friend from a website connection three times removed that a dear friend of mom is still alive and living in Mukilteo. I'll let you know what happens.

And JB and Mike, of course Dave will pay for the gas!

Well, first HD blackballed us and now a minister of the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church won't answer my email. And before anyone says anything..I went back and checked and I did email the right person AND called him by the right name. I'm one for six the last two weeks... :(

Guess I should have had a little more patience. I got an email from the minister this afternoon. The good news is my mom's best friend (and my namesake) is still alive! The bad news is she doesn't live in Mukilteo anymore. The good news is he had her address...and guess what..she is living in Portland, which is where we are flying into to start our trip to Jerry's BarBQ!!!! :dance: What are the odds of that?
