Has anyone seen my snap cutter? I've lost the damn thing, and I miss it. It was the first one I ever bought!

Was it a Superior No. 2 with a worn out backbone, dull wheel and loose bushings in the arm? Pads are all chewed up and look like the surface of the moon? Two colors of thin set caked over what's left of the pads?
No, haven't seen it.

Yeah, it was a no. 2, and in decent shape.
I hope I don't lose a tile saw.

Rob, hate to say it, but I saw your snapper hitch-hiking down I-30, just south of Little Rock the other day. Started to stop and pick him up, but the little tramp he was with didn't look too civil, so I just flew on by.

Sonnie
Thanks for the effort.
I'm starting to think someone stole it.

Why?

Jim
It's MUCH easier to blame this on a thief (real or imagined) than to admit that I may have been careless and misplaced the thing.

Have a guy that works for me from time to time and a few weeks ago he left his tile cutter (Chinese) in my truck so the other day I used it on some 6X6. Works really good actually. He wants to sell it to me and I'm about half interested but can't put a fair value on it. Tried to find it on the internet but wasn't able to locate this particular model.
Anyone have any idea what this thing is worth?
Brand: Power Clinker
Model: CT-1-440

How big is it? I have a 17" Clinker. Payed $89.00.....found out later I could have got it for about $70 It's a good cutter.

Clinker? is that anything like a Clunker? Clunker is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ace Truckin' Ltd.

Hey there's a post missing just after kalfords #282, what happened?
It is obvious that, the perpetrator of the theft of snap cutter is a member or visitor to the "John Bridge Forum".
Now the digression has lead to the pocketing of "Posts", on this very forum.
Watson, ring Scottland Yard. I want to check the records of all who have visited this site in the last 48 hours.
We will be on this post hence!!

What I see is two Kalford 283s. Count 'em.
I don't think anything's missing. I think it's just a quirk in the numbering. I'm hoping it's just a quirk in the numbering.

Your right about the two #283's, I hadn't noticed that. I responded to Keith's question with a post after his second #283 post. I usually wait for my posts to come up then proof read the actual post. Maybe I didn't do that this time and maybe the "Clear Fields" got me again. Double oops maybe. I just don't remember.
No big deal, just more "pearls of wisdom" that posterity will never have an opportunity to read and learn from. The world could have been a much better place, but now, who knows?

Okay, now they appear to be Kalford 285s. Maybe we have (another) problem.

Round up the usual suspects.
