I have just completed a looong construction project.
My tiler installed saltillos and they are stained with
grout. What is recommended for cleaning these and
then sealing/waxing for a finished look? They are in
my entryway. Thanks for all suggestions!
Grace
If the tile's were not sealed prior to grouting the grout may be there for keeps.
Your tile are very poreous and they soak up stuff like a sponge.
Others may have more experience then us up here in the Northwest but that is my experience with these tile.
Good Luck

Hi Grace, Welcome! :)
Can you post a picture? :shades:
The floor will need to be prewetted, and use a stronger acid such as Prosoco's 600 Detergent, or Prosoco's Tile & Grout Cleaner. After a short dwell time, they will need to be agitated with a brush, rinsed, and removed.
The good news is you should be able to save the floor.
