Hello all!

I have a stupid question. I just installed a tumbled porcelain backsplash. The job looks fantastic! :) *Pat pat pat... on my back* :dunce:

the problem is this:

When I was sealing the backsplash, I apparentely got some of the penetrating sealer on the countertop and it doesn't seem to want to wash away... the countertop is a grantite, black in color. There is a whiteish film on the spots where the sealer is...

What can I do to get this countertop back up to speed??? Has anyone else accidentaly got some of their sealer on a countertop before and been able to clean it up???

Thanks!

David

Thanks...

Knew I was probably in the wrong area, but was fully confident you would put me in my place

Thanks... I think.

Hi David,

Try taking a razor blade and scraping the sealer off, or use some more of the sealer and wipe it off.

If this doesn't work let us know, we'll go to the next step.
