We installed Black Negro Superior polished marble in a living room of a condo.
Used profix px575 impregnator sealer after install, before grouting. Sealer dried streaky and spotty and we have tried just about everything to remove this sealer. Marble just looks like a shiny black floor mopped with dirty water.
Any help to restore the original look of the marble would be greatly appreciated.

Try putting sealer on a small area and then buff it all off. Chances are the new sealer will re-emulsify the old stuff and you'll end up removing the old sealer with the new application.

Do not try to do this to the whole floor all at once. Do it in small, workable bits and bring your biggest chest & upper arm muscles. You are going to need a lot of elbow grease :goodluck:

Hi Maritime,

Open your windows and bring out the acetone with some 100% cotton towels and wear some forms of personal protection.

Due to the bituminous nature of Nero Superior an impregnator will not actually penetrate your natural stone, so once you have removed your impregnator residue you may want to hit your grout joints only. I hope that your streaking is just the impregnator residue as compared to an alkaline cleaning chemical burn.

Good luck,

Michael
