Reciprocating Saw

Is there a blade that will saw through the mud bed with the mesh embedded? Is there a mortar blade? We've tried the metal and the combination wood and metal. Thanks, Pat

They do make a carbide coated blade (no teeth).

Why do you want to go this route? It's very slow.

have u tried a DEMO blade ? they're designed to cut through just about everything

Thanks for the reply. I don't remember seeing a DEMO blade anywhere ... and no one at Lowe's or the local hdwe mentioned it. It would be nice to know for future reference, but my husband used a sledge hammer and a pry bar, so it's done. Thanks again, Pat
