New reality show.

Ok, I am so sick and tired of these reality shows, where the clients are a real pain in the ass.. Here is my idea for a new one.


Make a show, that shows the other side of contract work. From OUR point of view. How the client changes their mind 10x but still wants the work done for the same price and on schedule. How they keep trying to beat us down on pricing. "I know this other guy that will do it cheaper". How they buy the cheapest materials, but want it installed perfectly. How everytime we are scheduled to work, the damn painters and wallpaper guys are in our way. "Thats not what I picked out". Or when they hover over your back, nit picking the job as it goes.. I could go on and on...

Anyone else?

You could always make pizzas for a living, but then you'ld hear complaints about tough crust, not enough cheeze, sause is thin or too sweet or too acid, over done, under done, takes too long etc.. Git my drift, ain't no perfect job. I've got 37 years in construction and it hasn't changed but I get enought happy satified pleasant customers to make up for the PIA ones.

John, I think your missing my point. Im just saying it would be a change to see shows on our view point of these jobs.

Scott, those shows are not for you they are for consumers. They are industry supported to sell products. They all end happy ever after despite the problems encountered. And by the way the more they move the consumer to upgrade or remodel their homes the more work you have. Nobody wants to see your problems they ain't interesting. I could just see a program where the tradesmen are bad mouthing the crazy lady customer that can't make up her mind. Just how I want to spend my evening. :sick: :x: :crazy:
