Gosh Dave, if you had only asked me last week when I had a little extra cash floating about. :lol1:
I did the prudent thing and increased my 401k contribution.

You can call me Bubba. :shades:
About a year ago I come close to buying a new 04 Fatboy. They were trying to get rid of the remaining 04's and had it priced at 15888.00. I didn't feel they were giving me enough for my trade in so I didn't buy it. They also had a V-rod for the same price. I walked away but it wasn't easy. ;)

Its a shame davy im scared of it. I only got for resale value. It is a very heavy bike and I am only 190 lbs. Ill try this weekend to drag her out and clean it up and take some photos. The family dog just died saturday so its kinda morbid around here just not the same.

I really want to sell my Dyna and buy a Road King, but I really like my Dyna so I want to keep riding it and just talk about buying the Road King.
It's quite a conundrum, I tell ya. :lol2:
My buddy Joe has a Road King so every once in a while we trade and I get the jones for a bigger bike. The white wall tires and the huge front end are cool, and heel-toe shifter and seat configuration makes the ride seem a bit different than mine. He had a Power Commander added to the bike, and that thing really flies.

Hey Opie---no excuse. My lady friend is 57, 5-5, 105 lbs, and handles both her 2001 duece, and her 2005 flt roadglide (bagger) just fine. It's all, in the knowing how to ride.

Way to go, John. That's some kinda woman. :)
Yep, that's a nice Deuce John. It weighs in at about 645 lbs. plus all the extras. Like you said, it's just knowing how to ride. You aren't lifting 645 lbs, just balancing it.
Rob and Opie's Dynas weigh probably 625-665, depending on which one they have. I own a Yamaha Road Star Warrior 1700 that has an aluminum frame, weighs about 605lbs.
I'd still like to see a picher of Opie's bike. I need to take some pichers of mine. :)

Sorry if I've miss lead. I walked away from my last bike some 30 years ago. Had one of those moments of clarity in which I realized that if I wanted to live to 30 I needed to stay off of two wheels. Now, that I'm much older than that, and a little wiser (sober), I'm ready to saddle up again, but not until I finish the house--maybe by this summer. My lady on the otherhand put over 50,000 on the duece in three years, and has nearly 15,000 on the roadglide since last august. Nothing for her to take off on a month long trip. Not sure that she'll even let me ride along when I do get the next bike.
